Blast furnace gas analyzer and its method
Blast furnace gas is a by-product obtained during the blast furnace steelmaking process. Its main components are CO, CO2, N2, H2, etc. CO accounts for 22% to 26%, CO2 accounts for 16% to 19%, and H2 accounts for 1% ~ 4%, N2 accounts for 58% ~ 60%, which is an important secondary energy. The chemical composition of the blast furnace gas and its thermal characteristics are related to factors such as the type of blast furnace fuel, the type of iron made, and the characteristics of the blast furnace smelting process. In order to analyze the composition of blast furnace gas and the size of calorific value, we select the combination of gas filtration related and non-dispersive infrared absorption spectroscopy technology of British SIGNAL company, which is suitable for different measurement ranges and accuracy requirements of multiple gases.
At present, domestic and foreign furnace top gas composition analysis instruments mainly include industrial gas chromatography analyzers, gas-related filtration non-dispersive infrared analyzers and thermal conductivity analyzers. Most industrial gas chromatography analyzers are used in Japan; gas-related filtration non-dispersive infrared analyzers CO, CO2, CH4 are used in the United States and Western Europe; H2 is mostly analyzed by thermal conductivity analyzers.
The traditional gas analysis test is to use chemical analysis to analyze and determine each component in the gas. The operation process is more complicated. The gas must be manually sampled and analyzed in the laboratory. The operator's operating skills are very accurate for the analysis. Big impact; only one component can be tested and analyzed one by one, without multiple input and signal processing functions, it takes a long time to do an analysis, it is difficult to reflect the working condition information in real time. The thermal conductivity gas analyzer has the characteristics of simple structure, small size, low price, fast response and convenient use and maintenance, but it can only analyze the content of a single component in the gas. Infrared spectroscopy gas analyzer has high precision and sensitivity, wide measuring range, fast response speed, good selectivity, good stability and reliability, it can realize multi-segment multi-component gas simultaneous measurement, continuous analysis and automatic control. However, it is not possible to analyze symmetrical structures of non-polar diatomic molecules and monoatomic molecular gases. The gas chromatography analyzer has the characteristics of high separation efficiency, low sample consumption, multi-component analysis, high analysis accuracy and long calibration cycle. Its disadvantages are high price and high sample quality requirements.
The analyzer is composed of separate analysis units, with simple structure, stable performance and technically reliable instrument. This system includes mobile cabinets, 7000 series and 9000MGA CO / CO2 / O2 analyzers, dewatering sampling systems, sampling pipelines, sampling devices, etc. The measurement results can be displayed from time to time.

Non-dispersive infrared analysis uses a combination of two non-dispersive spectroscopy techniques, such as narrow-band filters and gas filtering correlation methods, and is suitable for different measurement ranges of gases.
The filtering correlation method can measure low-range gases and effectively avoid cross-interference. This unique technology can eliminate weakly-absorbing gases such as CO and high-absorbing gases CO2 cross-interference.
Model 7000FM can be individually designed to measure the gas type and measurement range when ordering.
The infrared light emitted by the heat source is filtered by the rotating filter, so that the series of pulse signals directly pass through the unit containing the sample gas. When the filter wheel rotates, the solid-state detector reflects the signal change and amplifies the signal and displays it.
Operation
It is necessary to provide continuous pure nitrogen to clean the gas chamber of the instrument and reduce noise to ensure the maximum stability of the instrument.
7000FM has the characteristics of fast response, high precision and repeatability, continuous measurement and analysis, and the wide-range design is suitable for the fields from waste incineration monitoring to combustion research and process gas analysis.
The 7000FM interface is friendly, with status display and fault diagnosis. With automatic and manual calibration, automatic range switching, and remote control functions, it is widely used in various occasions with low maintenance requirements.
