I. Introduction of mountaineering administrative license
Mountaineering administrative license: also known as the "Mountaineering Approval Letter" is the approval of the mountaineering administrative agency for mountaineering activities. China's mountaineering campaign is managed by the National Sports Bureau. The application process for mountaineering permits is generally to submit applications to the Sports Bureau or the boarding committee after the qualifications and materials mentioned in the preceding paragraph are available. The current "Administrative Measures for Domestic Mountaineering" has the following provisions concerning applications:
Climbing the announced peaks, the sponsors of mountaineering activities shall apply to the provincial sports administrative department where the peaks are located one month before the implementation of the activities;
To climb unpublished mountain peaks, the sponsors of mountaineering activities shall apply to the provincial sports administrative department where the mountain peak is located three months before the implementation of the activity;
Climbing the peaks at the junction of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, approved by the provincial-level sports administrative department on the side of the climb, and notified the provincial-level sports administrative departments at the other side of the border. For example, the controversy between the provincial sports administrative departments at the junction of the mountain and the peak is decided by the State Sports General Administration.
To climb mountain peaks over 7,000 meters, the sponsors of mountaineering activities shall apply to the State Sports General Administration for special approval three months before the implementation of the activities.
In the actual bidding process, in addition to submitting applications to the Sports Bureau, it is also possible to find a boarding association. The boarding committees of most provinces can provide agency services. It is only worth noting that the 7,000-meter peak and the peak above the peak must be submitted 3 months in advance.
