Skiing enthusiasts technical grade

The United States Ski Instructors Association (PSIA) has divided the two boards into four stages and nine levels of metrics

The first stage: Beginning

Level1: Skiing for the first time. Standing, walking, straightgliding, glidingwedge. Learn to start a wading turn.

Level2: Two or three hours later, we can cope with the primary road with a plow. We can start making plowing turns continuously. The curves are getting rounder and round. Start learning the cable car.

Level3: You can make a plough-type turn freely in the primary road. You can make plough-type turns of different sizes and shapes. Start the rake-like turn (wedge-christieturn). (Note: The plough type enters the bend, and the two plates are parallel ( Parallel) out-of-bend, plough-to-parallel conversion process)

The second stage: Intermediate

Level4: Wedgeturn or wedge-christieturn, with ease in the primary road. The ploughing and leg-turning are getting earlier and earlier. Different edge angles can be felt. (edge) and the feeling of pleasure on the left and right panels.

Level 5: Wedge-christie turn. Slid the middle track. It is often possible to raise the inner side of the board as it enters the bend (matching). Start practicing the longtoshort (slow to quick) and start the parallel. Use of parallel turns and ski poles.

Level 6: You can begin to make a parallel turn in the primary road. (Note: There is no need to plow or lift the inner board to enter the bend. Instead, you begin the active turn with the movement of the body's center of gravity and the movement of the pole. )). Start sliding simple high level roads and bumps. Begin to feel the different combinations of carving and skidding when turning. (Note: When you move, you will leave two on the snow.) Clear knife marks, and when the snow slides, there will be a lot of snowflakes (snowbubble) at the end of the board.)

The third stage: Advanced (Advanced)

Level7: The two boards are parallel and shoulder-width apart. They can make parallel turns. They can slide various intermediate roads and simple advanced roads. Start dynamic-parallel turning. Start trying different snow conditions. Steep slopes, snowpacks, and turnarounds. Start short-radiusturn. Begin the independence of the upper body and lower body, and even form counterrelationships on the upper and lower body. Emphasize the carvingturn.

Level8: Dynamic-parallel turns are slippery and simple. (Note: Compared with parallel turns, the dynamic parallel turning turns the body up and down, reduces the body's ups and downs, moves smoothly, controls the speed, upper body There is a feeling of separation between the lower body and the lower body. The use of the pole is more skilled, and the line of sight and body are kept in the direction of the fall line of the snow slope. Faced with difficult slopes or snowboards will open the board. Can handle simple high-level snow bags. It can slide lighter powdery snow (lightpowder).

Level9: You can slide all the trails at different speeds. You can choose different strategies to deal with mogul, powder and crud. After this level, become expert level ( Expertskier)!

Stage 4: Expert
