Container CT detection system successfully developed

The Nuclear Energy Technology Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University has successfully developed the Co60 container CT detection system, effectively solving the problems in container testing. This system is China's first major anti-terrorism, security inspection and anti-smuggling facilities with completely independent intellectual property rights.
As a national "Tenth Five-Year Plan" scientific and technological research project, the Co60 container CT detection system adopts a special structural design that can make a rotating motion around the container. Just like the CT scan of a human body in a hospital, the container is profiled and objects are no longer overlapped. . In addition, according to the density, the object is qualitatively solved, and the problems that are commonly concerned in the search for drugs, explosives, flammables, etc. related to “physical property discrimination” are solved.
