Light decomposition plastic garbage bag

Japan Unika has successfully developed a light-decomposable plastic garbage bag that can be decomposed by light after it is discarded. The photodegradable plastic used to produce this garbage bag is made of a polymer of ethylene and carbon monoxide. After it is exposed to the ultraviolet rays in the sunlight, the oxygen is activated, the external oxygen is incorporated, the carbon monoxide becomes carbon dioxide, and is then released into the air. The combination of polyethylene is destroyed and the plastic trash bag becomes powdery and self-decomposes. This kind of plastic garbage bag takes about 3 months from normal to powder under natural conditions.
