Eastman Kodak’s Graphic and Video Group announced today that it will launch a complete business workflow solution for the graphic and video industry at Print 05. Print 05 is the largest printing and graphic imaging exhibition in North America.
Kodak's Enterprise Management Solutions (EMS) software features beyond the traditional print MIS system. This set of EMS was developed by Kodak subsidiary Creo. The goal is to seamlessly integrate printing and business workflows, greatly improving business efficiency and profits.
The core of Kodak EMS software is the powerful production enterprise resource planning software (ERP) solution. This solution is tailor-made for the graphic communication industry and incorporates innovative software that will meet the special requirements of the printing industry. The software design uses a scalable architecture that can be used by five people to hundreds of people across the plant.
This solution can manage business processes at every stage of production, especially for printers whose business scope crosses traditional offset printing. Kodak EMS software can perform management tasks in complex environments such as digital printing workflows, packaging and mailing systems.
