PP copolymers for reusable container trays

Phillips Sumika Polypropylene offers a new type of polypropylene (PP) copolymer: the Marlex ALN-070, for reusable containers, trays, trays, etc., which provides the toughness and rigidity needed for these products. Due to the addition of Milliken Chemical's HPN-68C nucleating agent, the resin can be quickly formed and can reduce the warpage of plastic parts. The Izod impact strength of the resin was 1.0 ft lb/in (53.34 J/m), the flexural modulus was 1 379 MPa, and the melt flow rate was 7 g/10 rain.
