French man builds "Lego Town" with 10,000 blocks

According to the French media "Western France", the Frenchman Sébastien Delano built his own "small town" with 10,000 pieces of LEGO bricks . Sébastien is an executive in the small town of Deauville, France, and his greatest hobby is building blocks.

“When I was only 8 years old, I received my first building block. Over the next 25 years, these colorful little bricks spent most of my leisure time with me. In fact, I don’t have much Time to build blocks, but once I start, I will keep on going," Sébastien said. Now, he is the director of the Deauville City Youth Service Center.

Through continuous renovation and reconstruction, Sébastien has finally completed a “Lego Town” of his own. He said that the "town" contains almost all the service facilities: post office, science and technology museum, sidewalks, street lamps and so on.

Every year, Sébastien will re-appear his own “building block” and add more decorations to it. Now, his "Building Box" is the entire restaurant of a school in Deauville. A few minutes before lunch every day, he will add new blocks to the town. Taking advantage of his spare time to build blocks, he finally built a "small town" built of 10,000 blocks. The houses in the "small town" are arranged in an orderly manner, and all kinds of facilities are also available. But Sébastien said that he loves not only building blocks, but also his true architecture. In fact, when he built the Eiffel Tower or other buildings with blocks, he could understand architecture more fully.
