Correct installation and commissioning of German huber water bath

POLYSTAT series quick operation guide

Ambient temperature requirements:

The instrument should be placed 20 CM away from the wall to ensure sufficient clean air circulation, and the ambient temperature of the oil bath should not exceed 30 degrees (see page 31-1 of the manual).

1. All POLYSTAT K series products must be left unattended for 24 hours after arrival.

2. Before starting the machine, first add a thermal medium no less than 15CM away from the tank cover according to the temperature range.

3. Before starting the machine, check that the voltage is stable at 230V. If the voltage is unstable, it is recommended to configure a voltage regulator.

4. Set the overheat protector (black knob, red in the center) of the lower left corner of the control panel to the maximum operating temperature of the heat transfer medium.

5. After the machine is turned on, the machine performs a self-test. If the self-test passes, the machine has no problems.

6. If the machine panel is displayed in German, you need to first select the language as English. The specific operations are as follows: press the black knob on the right, then turn the black knob to the left and right, select SPARCH / LANGUE, press the SET button, the panel appears the pull-down menu DEAUCH German), ENGLISH (English), FRANCE (French), turn the right and left black knobs to select ENGLISH, press the SET button, then the panel changes to English display.

7. Preset some parameters after booting:

Press the black knob on the right to enter the main menu MAIN MENU, press the SET button, and then turn the black knob on the right to display various pull-down menus.

A) SET POINT LIMITS (setting of working limit temperature):

After this menu appears, press SET, LOWER LIMIT (minimum operating temperature) appears, turn the black knob on the right to select the desired temperature, and press SET to confirm.

UPPER LIMIT (maximum operating temperature) appears, turn the black knob on the right to select the desired temperature, and press a SET key to confirm.

After the limit working temperature is set, the future working temperature cannot exceed this temperature range. For example: The maximum temperature is 120 degrees and the minimum temperature is -25 degrees. After this setting, the working temperature must be within -25 degrees-120 degrees.

B) COMPRESSOR (compressor working mode is set to top), press the black knob on the right to enter the main menu MAIN MENU, press the SET button, and then turn the black knob on the right to display various pull-down menus.

After the COMPRESSOR menu appears, press SET and a drop-down menu appears:

AUTO——Fully automatic control mode, automatically turn on the compressor according to the demand of the set temperature; ON——The compressor keeps on all the time, even if refrigeration is not needed, the compressor will keep on

OFF-The compressor remains off at all times, even when refrigeration is required.

Turn the knob to select the desired mode and press SET to confirm.

C) ALARM CONFIG (alarm mode setting):

Press the black knob on the right to enter the main menu MAIN MENU, press the SET button, and then turn the black knob on the right to display various pull-down menus.

After the ALARM CONFIG menu appears, press SET and a drop-down menu appears:

LOWER ALARM LIMIT (lowest alarm temperature setting), after pressing the SET button, turn the black knob on the right side to the right temperature, press the SET button to confirm. Generally speaking, the minimum alarm temperature should be lower than the minimum temperature of the working limit temperature. For example, if the minimum temperature of the working limit temperature is set to -25 degrees, the minimum alarm temperature should be <-26 degrees;

UPPER ALARM LIMIT (maximum alarm temperature setting), after completing the above settings, press the SET button, then turn the black knob on the right to the right and left, to reach the appropriate temperature, press the SET button to confirm. Generally speaking, the highest alarm temperature should be higher than the highest temperature of the working limit temperature. For example, if the maximum temperature of the working limit temperature is set to 120 degrees, the maximum alarm temperature should be> 120 degrees.

D) MAX. HEAT POWER (Maximum heating power setting):

Press the black knob on the right to enter the main menu MAIN MENU, press the SET button, and then turn the black knob on the right to display various pull-down menus.

MAX appears. After the HEAT POWER menu, press SET and a drop-down menu appears. Turn the black knob on the right to adjust to the appropriate power, and then press SET to confirm. The maximum heating power is 2KW, and the required power can be set according to the requirements of the work, and the setting value is from 1% to 100%. In particular, when the compressor is turned on, the heating power should be adjusted to 75%, which can extend the life of the compressor.

E) SET POINT (operating temperature setting):

Press the SET button, then turn the black button on the right to select the appropriate temperature, and press SET to confirm.

Other functions in the MAIN MENU main menu can not be set, and the PID value cannot be adjusted at will.

8. Start / stop control process:

After completing all the settings, turn the black knob once, the Active Control menu appears, and then turn the knob to select:

ON——Turn on the control process;

OFF-Terminate the control process.

9. Start / shut down the system:

Turn on the main switch on the back of the LCD, and then turn on the switch on the back of the machine. After the system self-test is completed, you can work.

After the work is completed, first terminate the control process, then turn off the switch on the back of the machine, and finally turn off the main switch on the back of the LCD.
