According to the news, on June 15th, the Chinese Academy of Sciences hosted the acceptance meeting of the “Pre-research on Space Dark Matter Particle Detectorâ€, an important direction of knowledge innovation undertaken by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, undertaken by the Purple Mountain Observatory. Leaders such as Zhan Wenlong, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Liu Minghua, director of the Academy ’s Basic Bureau, and the pilot special office of the Space Center of the Academy participated in the acceptance. After review and discussion, the acceptance committee considered that the 1/6 principle prototype of the space dark matter particle detector of the Purple Mountain Observatory has reached the technical indicators set forth in the implementation plan, and overcomes the two major technical problems of the detector ’s large dynamic range measurement and multi-channel electronics reading. The project undertaking unit completed the pre-development tasks as planned and with high quality. The acceptance committee unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance.

At the acceptance meeting, the project leader Chang Jin introduced the general situation of the project and the final account report. The members of the project cooperation group, Professor Xu Zizong and Professor An Qi from the University of Science and Technology of China, gave technical reports on BGO calorimeters and electronics, respectively. The test report and the review report of the fund revenue and expenditure were also reported to the experts of the acceptance team.
