In order to promote the application of honeycomb composite panel in China's framework light board building system, we have worked hard to develop and produce "Shenfeng" brand paper honeycomb sandwich panels.
1 Paper honeycomb sandwich panel production process
1.1 The main raw materials
Paper honeycomb sandwich panels (hereinafter referred to as honeycomb panels) commonly used surface materials are shown in Table 1. 

The properties of the adhesive directly affect the mechanical properties of the honeycomb panels. The selection of adhesives needs to be considered both in terms of performance and cost. Table 2 lists several commonly used adhesives and their uses. 

Honeycomb cores are manufactured by unfolding method: the rubber strips coated with gluing rollers (or by hand) are coated on the kraft paper to form rubber strips, and the adjacent two layers of kraft paper coated with strips should be staggered, ie, The strips of the upper layer of paper are located exactly in the middle of the adjacent strips of the next layer of paper. The honeycomb core paper (tens or hundreds of layers) bonded to each other in this way forms a honeycomb sandwich panel. After the adhesive is fully cured, the paper honeycomb core board is cut into a strip of honeycomb core strips having a required height on a paper cutter, and then the honeycomb core strip is stretched through a special molding apparatus. A honeycomb type hexagonal core board is formed, and after dipping (or spraying) the setting glue is cured, the honeycomb sandwich structure is formed. 
1.3 Honeycomb Board Production Process
Honeycomb panel is made up of honeycomb sandwich and panel glued together. Compounding can use thermal compound or cold compound. Its production process is as follows:

Surface Material → Dip Compound Molding → Drying and Curing → Aging Treatment → Honeycomb Sandwich Plates
The aging treatment in production is to press the solidified sheet at room temperature for a period of time to prevent warping and deformation of the sheet.
1.4 Production Equipment
The main equipments for honeycomb panel production are as follows:
(1) Honeycomb core production equipment includes: honeycomb composite printing (coating) glue machine, oven, cutting machine, hot (oil) press, cutting machine, stretching (setting) machine, aging vehicle. 
(2) Honeycomb board production equipment includes: fabric impregnators, hard surface coating machines, honeycomb panel composite machines, setting machines, and large tabletop presses. 
2 Product Features and Applications
Table 3 shows the main technical performance of honeycomb panels made of composite glass fiber cloth and kraft paper honeycomb cores. 

Honeycomb board is characterized by its light weight, high specific strength, high specific stiffness, not easily deformed, and easy to process. It can meet the special needs of sound insulation, heat insulation, fire retardant, and waterproof according to user requirements. It is a promising new construction material. . It can be widely used in partitions, ceilings, door panels, interior wall decoration, mobile homes, vehicles, ships and aerospace. 
Because honeycomb panels have different structural forms and performance characteristics from other lightweight materials, its use in the construction field has its own unique features. There are two types of honeycomb panel products: one is that the surface has been decorated and the surface finish is good; the other is without surface decoration, and the surface decoration can be performed according to the user's requirements when used. When the honeycomb panel is installed, it must be sealed. The following describes several applications of honeycomb panels. 
(1) Partition: Due to the difference between user requirements and application environment, the partition is divided into temporary partition and permanent partition. For ease of assembly and disassembly, temporary partitions generally use thicker plates for single walls.
