(1) Phenomenon
1 In the printing process, the transfer rate of printing inks is continuously decreasing.
2 After the printing was completed, when the production was resumed, the ink that had been clogged in the plate could not be dissolved, resulting in clogging of the cells.
(2) Solution
1 Adjust the squeegee angle.
2 Reduce the evaporation rate of the solvent.
3 reduce the ink viscosity.
4 If the dilution contains more main solvent, the plate cylinder must be cleaned immediately if the press stops working.
6. Anti-sticking
(1) Phenomenon
Immediately after printing, the film is wound up, the ink and film adhere to each other, or the ink adheres to the opposite side of the film.
(2) Solution
1 Reduce the winding tension.
2 If the temperature rises and the ink softens, it should be cooled sufficiently before rewinding.
3 Select a fast-drying solvent to make the ink fully dry.
4 Design the arrangement of graphic positions that can be unaffected by the roll pressure.
5 Add antiblocking additives as appropriate.
6 to avoid the printing materials stored in a hot, humid place, place the print surface when the load surface is uniform.
7. Flying ink
(1) Phenomenon
During the printing process, dots of ink are splashed on the surface of the film or flying ink generated by static electricity adheres to the surface of the printed material from time to time.
(2) Solution
1 Check if the squeegee pressure is too high.
2 Inspect the squeegee for damage or nicks.
3 Check if the cardboard on both sides of the plate cylinder is placed.
4 Lower ink viscosity for low speed printing.
5 Reduce static electricity or replace new ink.
