Domestic round flat pressing hot stamping machines are available from Taiwan. The equipment was retrofitted from the old Heidelberg letterpress machine, which may be limited by the processing capabilities, the equipment accuracy is slightly lower, but the price is low, which gives it a considerable market share. Round-press circular crafts are usually applied to rotary printing production lines, such as narrow-width rotary flexo presses, to achieve in-line processing. In recent years, there has been a trend of shifting equipment to large-scale equipment, such as equipment in France's Shangbang. The greatest advantage of round press hot stamping is high speed. Such as Stowe's FOIJLET type hot stamping machine speed can reach 12,000 / hour. The disadvantages of round-round hot stamping are also very obvious. The first is the hot stamping version, which is not only expensive but also very demanding. It is necessary to consider the coefficient of thermal expansion of the material and consider various factors such as the wear of the plate. Secondly, there are also special requirements for hot stamping foils, that is, they must be able to be transferred quickly. At present, domestic aluminum foil is still difficult to meet this requirement, and expensive imported special materials must be used. Otherwise, its high production speed is just empty talk.
In addition, bronzing and bumps must be implemented on two units. Even if the registration error is not taken into account, at least two sets of dies are required, adding virtually to the cost. Once the market changes, bronzing services shrink, and high-value equipment may be a pile of scrap iron. It has no other function and investment risk is quite high. All of these have limited the application of round round hot stamping process. Unless users are convinced that their business is a single bronzing product, they rarely need to be replaced, and their quantity can also ensure that equipment investment is recovered, otherwise such equipment is difficult to enter the market in China. This is also the reason why such devices are rarely seen in the country.
