Japan's newly developed high-brightness mirror ink

It is reported that Nippon Fine Agbars Co., Ltd. has newly developed a high-brightness mirror ink. The special aluminum pigments used in this ink can be printed on the back side of transparent plastic materials, and can give a mirror-like light effect. In addition, the ink can also be printed on a solvent-resistant material to achieve a mirror effect. This ink uses a special resin and is a single-night evaporation-drying type ink. As the use of the ink, it can be printed on the back of smooth and transparent materials such as PC, PVC and other materials to produce a mirror effect, but also has a metallic luster.

The ink uses high-brightness special aluminum pigments, color light is extremely incomparable. The ink has good viscosity and printability. Thinners are generally not required when using this ink. However, if the ink is already used, it is poured into the ink tank. When it is used again, it needs thinner. In order to improve the operability of the ink, 5% of special thinner can be added. The screen used for printing is preferably a 250 mesh to 300 mesh screen, using an 80-hardness squeegee.

The ink can be dried at room temperature. In order to increase the printing brightness, forced drying can also be performed at a temperature of 50°C to 60°C.

If the used mesh and drying conditions do not match the above parameters, the print quality will be degraded.
